Overview:

This position is on-site in our Stockholm, Sweden office; post Covid as our offices are currently closed so you would be working remote on an interim basis.

You will develop and maintain our modern cloud infrastructure software for enterprise communication. The infrastructure provides the back-end implementation of our enterprise communication and collaboration solution. You are challenged by creating highly performance Java and SIP-based solutions, serving as the backend to modern front-ends; both web-based and mobile apps.

We hope you enjoy working with Kanban as a development process and taking part in all development related activities such as design, implementation, manual and automatic testing, troubleshooting, and bug-fixing. You are passionate about creating great software that lasts and take pride in your work. Experience in Front-end development is a plus.

If you concurrently enjoy debugging non-blocking IO problems while having a prepared statement ready for your new REST-ful protocol then you should definitely apply for this position!

Responsibilities and requirements:

• Experience in system development, working with Java-based systems with high demands on availability and performance
• Writing code that is well tested, understandable, maintainable, and not make you (or anybody else) ashamed six months from writing it
• Have a good overview and keep yourself updated with the available frameworks, tools, and patterns that help you succeed in your work
• Excellent Java knowledge
• Experience with GCP services and frameworks
• Experience with relational databases (MSSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases
• Good knowledge with web services (REST)
• You have fluent or very good English communications skills (writing and speaking)
• Ability to work and contribute in a team environment
• Very good analytical, decision making and trouble shooting skills
• University degree in computer science domain
• Has an understanding for best practices for frontend design and user experience
• Have a Masters of Science Degree or equivalent academic experience
