.NET / F# developer to fintech company Svea

What will you do?
In this role you will be responsible for one of our business-critical systems called “Admittance”, a user authorization system. The system is developed in F#, and around 25-40% of your time will be used to work on this system, while the rest will consist of supporting other systems that the team maintains and develops in .NET C#. The role consists of both new development and maintaining the system as well as troubleshooting and taking measures to fix eventual problems.

You will have a lot of contact with both your team members, QA, Product Owners and internal customers who are users of the system. In Svea we have several F# developers, so even though you are the only one in this team working with functional programming, you are always welcome to turn to your colleagues from other teams in the organization for support and guidance if you need it.

Who are you?
We are looking for a skilled developer with an interest in functional programming, who has worked for some years with .NET C# development and is looking to expand their knowledge and experience in F#. You might have a higher education within system development, but it is not a must. However, we would like you to be able to take a holistic perspective on your work and have a deep understanding of coding. We want you to have a clean code approach, since this is something we aspire to, and to take responsibility for your own code and its quality.

There will be a lot of communication and collaboration with other team members, so you need to have good communication skills and be fluent in English. We think you have a curious mindset and drive to learn more, as well as a solutions-oriented approach to your work.
