As Senior User Experience Designer at Ikano Bank you will join a team of highly dedicated colleagues who all work on the transformation journey. You will set and deliver to a plan, being a truly transformational change agent at Ikano Bank – effectively, and proactively, communicating the status, value, and importance of the user experience perspective to executive members and employees.

The main responsibility of the Senior User Experience Designer is understanding the user’s needs and generating ideas which solve their problems. The User Experience Designer is part of the full product life cycle, from inception to delivery and improvement after launch. Thus: Being secure (and having extensive competences within) in all phases of the design process is a must. The role includes an extensive design thinking toolbox, and skills within design research, ideation, prototyping and user testing.

The User Experience team are in total responsible for developing and delivering customer centric solutions across the Bank, with a clear focus on transformation. We understand the demands of today's customers, but also simultaneously predict and invent the needs of tomorrow. Both from a technical and a user perspective. Our customers are very close to our heart.

Main responsibilities also include:

• Mapping user needs: Identifying and creating a multi-dimensional picture of user pain points, needs and wishes
• Ideation: Generating ideas (e.g. through brainstorming) which provides clear business value
• Evaluation: Evaluating and securing ideas based on feasibility, desirability and viability
• Prototyping: Prototyping designs, which can range from sketches to high-fidelity and digital mock-ups
• User testing: Conducting usability tests to learn, improve and secure a product design which can drive the customer journey into the expected and wished position

Are you the one for Ikano?

Professional skills:

• Ability to extract complex concepts and quickly turn around rigorous flows and mock-ups
• Ability to proficiently present design solutions to stakeholders in design, product management, and engineering
• Experience of working in a collaborative team environment to deliver high-quality design solutions
• Experience in working with tools such as: Sketch, Figma, InVision, Trello
• Vast experience in creating, contributing to and consuming component-based design systems
• Very good business acumen, result driven, self-motivating and hands-on approach
• Creative problem-solving skills and great attention to details
• Strong communication skills, comfortable presenting complex topics to stakeholders at various organizational levels both in person and remotely

Experience

+5 yrs of experience with consumer brand experience design

+5 years of experience in digital UX design

Great communication skills (written and verbal), including facilitation of multi-dimensional stakeholder groups

Portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables

Key competencies:

Making it happen – ability to take necessary decisions and implement changes. You have a structured mind, and a strong capacity to drive and deliver.

Open-minded, should be able to adapt to working in a multi-cultural team atmosphere The ability to work in a team and live the Ikano values
