Software Engineer, Infrastructure

• Contribute in all areas delivered by the team: analyze, design, requirements, development, test and service/system management.
• Be part of a Cross functional Agile team with Business analysts, Software engineers, Product Owner and Scrum master in the Payment Infrastructure Agile Release Train, working together to build and maintain high quality payment solutions.
• Make sure our payment processing services are up and running 24/7. You should be prepared to have on-call support for maintained services on an agreed schedule.
• Strive for automation and standardization.
• Ensure compliance to security policies.
• Set-up framework and guidelines for platform infrastructure and / or application infrastructure.

What you need in this role:

• Willingness and ambition to learn new things and contribute in all areas: service management, analyse, design, develop, build, test and maintain services delivered by the CFT.
• Ability to analyse and understand both business and infrastructure services.
• Relevant experience to install, configure and maintain WebSphere application server Network Deployment, base versions 8.x, 9.x on Linux machines.
• Configure WebSphere horizontal and vertical Cluster environments for fail over and load balancing.
• Install and Configure Web Server Plugins for Application server- WebSphere.
• Provide Technical assistance and troubleshooting for the WAS in the Clustered environment.
• Automate processes for applying fix packs and other patches.
• Administration of WebSphere Application Server Base with J2EE Applications.
• Configure JDBC drivers, data sources, JMS connection factories, Virtual Hosts, Global Security, SSL and LDAP.
• ITIL knowledge.
• Performance Monitoring and Tuning experience.
• Define and maintain MQ objects like queue.
• Other development skill like below will be an extra advantage.
• Global Pay Plus platform knowledge would be extra advantage.
• Working experience on Cobol, JCL, IMS, CICS, ChangeMan.
