The opportunity to join the Nasdaq Post Trade Clearing product team, as a developer you will have the opportunity to learn from other experts developing both your technical and business knowledge.

As a Software Engineer, you will be integrally involved in meeting our challenge to develop robust high quality software, with ever-increasing performance requirements and simultaneously contribute to improve agility and time to market in a changing business and regulatory environment.

Your role and responsibilities:

Designing solutions and writing good quality code that solves difficult problems in a highly distributed system with extreme demands on resilience and quality

You will be involved in all stages of the product life cycle; design, implementation, testing, release, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance and enhancement

Always consider performance implications when developing and refactoring code

Give continuous feedback to other developers, architects, testers, as well as Project Managers

We're looking for Someone With:

A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline

Some experience in an agile software development environment

A good understanding of Java

Passion for building great products and making valuable contributions

Ability to engage and collaborate closely with external clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders

It would be great if you have:

Experience working agile with cross functional teams

Experience or interest working within FinTech
