About this role
We are now looking for a front-end developer to keep improving our products. Your work will cover web-based user interface development for all aspects of our systems, including real-time video display for alarm central operators and portals for configuration and health monitoring of thousands of cameras across the world. You will work closely together with both UX designers, back-end developers and machine learning researchers, making sure that our entire system is coherent, stable and easy to use.

Our R&D department consists of tight agile teams, where most people contribute to several aspects of the system. You will be located at our main office in Göteborg, as part of a team with a lot of energy and a strong community. In our company culture, we give a lot of individual freedom to each team member, as long as everyone takes responsibility and the teams function as a whole. For example, during the ongoing pandemic, we have full flexibility regarding working from home or from the office, depending on what each staff members feels is the right trade-off between safety, convenience and efficiency.

Who we think you are
To be qualified for this role, we expect you to have extensive experience in developing the front-end parts of complex web applications. We also expect great insight into how a complete web stack application works, including the interplay with back-end parts, APIs and databases.

As personal qualities, we expect good communication skills and initiative, with the ability to work closely together with product owners and UX designers, making sure that our user interfaces match the expectations of our customers.

To be qualified for this role, we have the following minimum requirements:

- MSc or BSc in software engineering, web design or similar
- At least 3 years of experience in developing the front-end parts of large-scale complex web applications (multi-locale systems with thousands of users and complex business logic)
- Excellent knowledge in HTML/CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript
- Professional experience from modern web framework such as React

Experience from front-end testing (cross-browser, multiple languages etc), back-end development or other related software development work is strongly meriting.

Great skills in the English language is a requirement and good Swedish skills is an advantage.
