Who are IOPSYS?

Our vision is to be the key player that transforms and brings the open-source business model to the gateway industry. Maintain leadership in development and offer supported versions of enterprise software for the gateway industry.

In 2010 we started the development of our open source operating system for gateways, IOPSYSWRT. Today IOPSYSWRT is one of the most advanced, platform independent gateway software based on OpenWRT. We embrace open-source and contributes code to other open-source projects which enables IOPSYS developers get recognition for their work not only at IOPSYS but also in the wider community.

Currently we are located south of Stockholm but in the beginning of next year, we will move our office to the city.

The role

You will have the overall ownership of our technical and product documentation. Together with development teams and other professionals within IOPSYS, you will create content that makes an impact on adoption of our products.

You will:

· Write and update online help systems

· Produce user and troubleshooting guides, reference documentation and programming guides.

· Drive review meetings as well as interview software and hardware developers to ensure accurate product information

· Be responsible for documentation (both existing and new), that is coming out of IOPSYS, meet company style guidelines and content standards

· Support external as well as internal customers

Preferred qualifications, but they are not all a must:

· Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience

· Minimum 5 years of experience from writing technical content

· Experience from creating user guide material and/or training manuals

· Experience from using Markdown and/or other markup languages with plain-text-formatting syntax

· Experience from Git

· Experience with HTML, javascript & web programming

· Experience in working in Linux/Unix systems

· Excellent English skills, both in speaking and writing
