System and verification engineer

What do we do?
Our team develops and maintains an end-to-end solution that uses the mobile network to collect information about cars. The data is published within the company and used by other teams to draw conclusions about the car, improving ownership experience. The solution is today used on many cars in several countries. Our technology roadmap is exciting, and you will be part of an amazing journey when we scale up with vehicles and features.

What will you do?
In your role as System and verification engineer, you are a member of a tight agile development team which is responsible to deliver the end-to-end solution for the data collection capabilities. The system consists of software in both the vehicle and cloud. We use test driven development, and you will be responsible for end-to-end solution verification. You will increase flow and speed in the team when you design and implement automatic tests cases that run in the CI environment. You will also verify the functionality in virtual environment, rigs and in test vehicles. Through collaboration with colleagues, you will deliver state-of-the-art software. 

What do you need to know?
You are passionate about system design and verification. You should be familiar with Linux, with test driven development and CI work using Git. You are experienced in designing as well as implementing automatic testcases and take responsibility for the full feature testing. You constantly improve the system by implement test cases for normal functionality as well as stress tests and fault injections. You are experienced in working with programming/script languages like C/C++/Go/Python. You have a M.Sc. in Software Engineering and at least 3 years’ experience of implementing automatic tests. You are fluent in English (verbal and written).
