2021 Summer Internship - Nasdaq CSD Software Development Intern

The Nasdaq Internship Program provides successful candidates with a unique opportunity to experience a challenging and immersive 10-week internship. As participants of our Internship Program, you will deliver real, impactful work within a business unit. You will get a chance to work on a project along with a mentor, network with senior colleagues, and present your project towards the end of the program. You will also participate in learning and development sessions with diverse topics to help you grow and succeed as you establish your career.

Our Team

The Nasdaq CSD team is tasked with delivering a highly sophisticated enterprise application for Central Securities Depository (CSD) in markets globally. It is an advanced system with high demands on quality and performance, built with leading edge technology and tools. CSD solutions are typically implemented on a national level.

Your Role

As Software Development Intern, you will work in cross-functional scrum teams consisting of Business Analysts, Software Engineers, and Quality Assurance Engineers. You will be involved in all stages of the product life cycle, from design, implementation and testing, to release and deployment, to monitoring and troubleshooting, and maintenance and enhancement. We work in close cooperation with our customers in all phases of the projects. In your role, you will have an increased scope to influence the end product.

The Ideal Candidate

Is working on completing a degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science (graduating by 2022)

Has experience in the following languages/technologies: Java 11, J2EE, Spring, REST, SOAP, EJB3.1, CDI, JPA, Hibernate C#, .NET Oracle, Postgres Wildfly/EAP, Message Oriented Middleware (e.g. ActiveMQ) Git, Maven, Docker

Is passionate for learning, teamwork, collaboration and well-tested clean code

Is solution-oriented, positive, and with a 'can-do' attitude

Project Overview

The intern will work on product features (new/current) for the Nasdaq CSD.
