Our Exciting Opportunity

BTEB (Business Area Technology and New Businesses) IoT is driving new business in the fast-growing area of Internet of Things (IoT). We are offering platform services for connectivity management, connected vehicles, and security. Our IoT connectivity management platform is supporting almost 6000 enterprises globally across 100+ countries through our mobile network operator partners. Our connectivity vehicle platform adds telematics, service innovation and network-near value-add services while the security solutions area protects both network and IoT assets with machine learning algorithms. The nature of the business is defined by as-a-Service business models, translating enterprise and customer needs to scalable solutions and a rapid change as the market and our offerings evolve.

You will

• Plan, design and assist with the implementation of both cloud strategies and services.
• Understand how to model cloud architectures, and provide expertise on designing and developing the associated infrastructure.
• Design end-to-end infrastructure including - servers, storage & networks in Cloud / hybrid cloud environments.
• Lead and define the enterprise cloud strategy for our Next Generation BSS, to include an automation first approach.
• Be an expert on cloud economics pertaining to various cloud operating models
• Work throughout the delivery project life cycle - project management, planning, architecture (including HLD, LLD etc.), deploying and configuring state of the art Segmentation platform.
• Deliver advanced professional services (such as training / expansions / configurations / optimizations) according to Scope of Work (SoW).
• Work closely with members of Support and Engineering teams to quickly resolve any customer issues.
• Evaluate and monitor cloud migration roadmaps, and to drive acceptance across complex organization structures.
• Identify dependencies and common infrastructure components, and to assess migration feasibility.
• Deliver proof-of-concept projects and lead the implementation of projects

To be successful in the role you must have

• Strong proven track record with deep technical leadership within Cloud in a product or design unit (e.g. product/solution development). With a solid understanding of the cloud architecture and solution design principles, including data center networking.
• In-Depth Technical Knowledge on Cloud Infrastructure products & solutions both virtual and container.
• Good communication, networking and presentation skills, ability to translate a complex technical question into a compact problem description that a C-level manager can understand and act on.
• Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
• Solid understanding of different attributes for cloud application availability, scalability and ability to propose optimized design for a cloud environment.
• Customer Insight and drive to reach Results with a pro-active way of working, can-do attitude and ability to meet customer expectations.
• Experience in Technical Leadership, Coaching and Mentoring Skills
• Experience in formulating Strategies and Concepts
• Strong skills in coordination, team organization and self-organization
• Experience in Operator understanding, business intelligence and competitor analysis
• A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline
• Knowledge about cloud computing.
• An interest to constantly learn, gain new certifications, communicate, interact, share information, and willingness to help others.

• CCNA Cloud (Cisco)
• CCNP Cloud (Cisco)

• Google Professional Cloud Architect
• Industry experience:
• Cloud IT / Telecoms Engineering / Operations Telecom or IT
