As we are expanding into new markets, we are increasing our Operations Team in our offices in Stockholm Sweden. Currently we are hiring for the role of Sr. Systems Engineer. We run our products on Linux and we use open source systems extensively. We offer competitive remuneration, challenges and a great atmosphere and excellent possibilities for growth.
As we're currently recruiting for a number of positions, we're looking for a wide set of skills that would contribute to a perfect blend within the team. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience and be fluent in spoken and written English.
The role will include the following responsibilities

• End-to-end responsibility for availability of production systems and maintenance of the quality of service offerings according to defined service levels.
• Planning, maintenance and deployment of new and existing SEQR Installations
• Developing and setup of new software, routines and processes for better system maintenance.
• Managing capacity considerations for the various Seamless Data Centers/ Cloud Installations and ensuring stable and optimal operations
• Improving existing processes, suggesting better solutions
• Building, Configuring and maintaining existing networking solutions and designing new setups. 

 
To fulfill these responsibilities the candidate would have hands on experience in most or all of the following key technologies and competencies

• RedHat/Fedora/Centos Linux in an Enterprise Environment
• Extensive Python scripting knowledge
• Experience of KVM virtualization technology
• Skilled in Networking, Switching, Loadbalancers, Firewall and Routing policies with setups involving Cisco ASA’s, IPSec and other VPNs
• Skilled in version control tools and repositories like SVN and GIT
• Setup and maintenance of Puppet
• Extensive experience in working with Amazon Cloud Services.
• Excellent Knowledge of SQL Databases preferably MySQL, MariaDB
• Skills in Elastic Search and NOSQL Databases like MongoDB
• Deep knowledge in container technologies , like Docker
