At Episerver, our platform is the product. As we advance the next generation of our industry-leading platform for delivering digital experiences, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help us build upon and expand our vision. As a senior software engineer at Episerver you will be responsible for designing, implementing, releasing, and maintaining our platform functionality.

As a Senior Software Engineer you will

• Design and develop simple, secure, scalable, maintainable, and cost-effective software solutions
• Develop full-stack web applications and services with a variety of languages, including but not limited to C#, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Develop, deploy, and maintain the services that enable Episerver’s SaaS and PaaS product lines
• Contribute to the architecture and design decision making process
• Mentor and share knowledge with other engineers and team members
• Pursue growth by maintaining an awareness of the state of technology, engineering techniques and best practices

About you

• You have 5+ years of experience in the development of scalable, production services
• You can breakdown complex user stories into sub-tasks of appropriate scope for efficient delivery
• You are approaching an expert level competency in core language areas
• You are actively sharing your knowledge and skills to help team members grow
• You maintain an awareness of the state of technology, tools, and techniques
• You are knowledgeable in the development and operational aspects of cloud-based software
• You have experience designing services and APIs with concern for performance, availability, observability
• You require little oversight beyond high level direction
• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
