Frontend Developer

In this role you will usually be on the bleeding edge of the latest technology, developing external and internal tools which most of our teams make use of. You will also be responsible for building a smooth and secure application for our customers’ best digital banking experience.

You will strengthen your modern tech capacities within our knowledge-sharing environment with our highly-skilled senior developers.

We are apx. 30 skilled and friendly developers working in 5 teams under the same roof in Stockholm city Torsplan. Nordax is a young and ambitious specialist bank founded in 2003 with 250 coworkers.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Hands-on coding to maintain and create new features in our very own React design system.
• Hands-on coding to implementing the design created by our designers.
• Hands-on coding and test writing for assuring the quality of your work when developing new applications or maintaining existing ones in your team’s domain
• Contributing to and maintaining the overall frontend solution architecture

Who you are

You are a senior frontend developer, probably you have been in frontend development for +3 years, that has a passion for the technology who follows the community on the latest technology and design patterns with a mindset of component based design.

• Some TypeScript experience
• React experience or other framework such as Vue och Angular
• Strong Html/CSS knowledge
• English, both in written and spoken. The ability to speak Swedish is a plus, but not a must.

You have good communication skills, not afraid to speak your mind and work well with others and has the following experience:

Big pluses if you have experience in:

• Accessibility (ARIA) knowledge
• A good eye for UX and Design
• Have worked on/with a component Design system
• Knowledge of NextJS
• Knowledge of NodeJS
• Knowledge of .Net Core
• CI and CD (continuous integration and continuous development)
• TDD (test driven development) or similar methodologies
