ASIC Engineer

Since early 2000 we have supported our clients on a vast number of projects, all over the world. Our consultant pool consists of Swedish and non-Swedish consultants within the fields of embedded systems, telecommunication, IoT, security, online solutions and application development. We are now looking for an ASIC engineer.

We are now looking for a developer with experience from ASIC backend & STA, to ensure coming digital ASICs are performing per requirements and that it is introduced into coming product development programs according to the plans.

You will:

Work with all backend related activities such as: synthesis, constraints development, equivalence checking, initial place & routing etc.

Be part of cross functional development teams in which continuous improvement and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.

To be successful in the role you must have:

• BSc or MSc level in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or other equivalent education.
• At least 8 years of work experience.
• Significant experience of EDA tools for Synthesis & Timing/Area/Power closure.
• Significant experience from Static Timing Analysis and timing sign off.
• Experience in low power and UPF.
• Good understanding of VHDL or System Verilog.
• Knowledge in scripting languages (Python, Perl, TCL, Linux Shell scripting etc.).
• Experience from UNIX/Linux.

Following experience will be a beneficial asset:

• Leadership experience
• Multi/Many Core CPU Architecture Knowledge a plus
• Experience from source code repositories such as Clear Case and Git
• Experience with Synopsis Spyglass, Primetime, Design Compiler & Formality
• Knowledge about mobile communication standards is an advantage.
• Knowledge of floor planning and physical implementation is an advantage
• Telecom knowledge

Start: asap.

Duration: longterm.

Extent: full-time, 40h/week. Paid overtime can be requested.

Compensation: Negotiable.
