The team
The Advanced Analytics & AI organization is brand new within Volvo Cars and tasked with identifying opportunities for the application of data science, artificial intelligence and machine learning throughout the company, and then acting on those opportunities. In addition, we develop and operate tools to accelerate and support all teams working with data science and machine learning at Volvo Cars. 
We are now looking for a machine learning operations engineer to join our team in Gothenburg. 

What you’ll do
You’ll work in tight collaboration with data scientists, ML engineers and backend developers on key machine learning deliveries.  As a machine learning operations engineer, you will shape and operate best practices for managing models in production. You will ensure scalability, reproducibility and provide automation to ensure the robustness of ML systems over time. You will be part of a technical team dedicated to enabling ML in an enterprise environment using and developing state of the art solutions.

You and your skills
We are looking for an experienced Machine Learning Operations Engineer with a proven track record of operating machine learning in production. You should be well versed in the Cloud Native ecosystem and have professionally worked as DevOps/SRE. Automation is at your core and you are heavily invested in CI/CD & GitOps supporting the machine learning life cycle. We expect you to have solid knowledge of machine learning quality assurance methodologies and tools.  
In-depth knowledge and several years of experience in software engineering (languages should include Python, Golang)
You have practical working experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Terraform is second nature
Previous experience with Kubeflow is considered beneficial.   

Strong collaboration and communication skills are important.
