About the role
You will join one of our Product teams, IT Horse Core, as a Backend Java Kotlin developer. The team is growing as we replace outdated solutions with modern platforms. You will therefore be part of a team that focuses on knowledge sharing as well as producing quality solutions.

As a developer in an ATG scrum team you will always need to take an active role in progressing product goals with an agile approach to everyday tasks. It is important that you are open minded and thrive in an environment where you openly discuss your own and your colleagues code to continuously improve both code quality and team knowledge and that you enjoy exploring new toolsets.

Working at ATG you will be able to affect how we work while we aim to make the gaming experience the best it can be.

About you

• You are a Java developer with a big curiosity or experience in Kotlin
• You are driven and appreciate collaboration with your colleagues to be able to grow and learn from each other. In these times when most of us are working from home we believe that it is important for everyone to focus on keeping the collaborations going. The team are continuously doing code reviews and discuss what is the best solution.
• You have several years of experience as a Java/Kotlin Backend developer and we think that you have a degree within the area.
• You are fluent in English, the corporate language at ATG is Swedish but we are a multilingual company

• JPA/Hibernate/SQL
• Kubernetes/Openshift/Docker
• REST/JSON

About me – Ulrika Gullo, Manager Horse Core
I’ve worked at ATG since June 2001, first as developer and project manager, and since spring 2017 as Manager for the Horse Core teams. My main goal as a manager is to not be needed in the teams daily work. I want to help my teams get the tools, the processes, and the work environment to continuously deliver what ATG needs, while still making the space for everyone to grow as individuals as well as growing the teams together.
