The Automated Driver team is responsible for developing solutions and algorithms that control the vehicle behavior. Together with other teams at V.A.S. we build components that realizes the transport solutions of tomorrow, and to succeed with that challenge we are looking for talents with expertise in modern software development e.g. C++.
Role description
If you join our team, you have the possibility to influence our products and the way we work in an exciting industry with the mission to create ground-breaking transport solutions. In this job, you will make a difference by tackling the challenge of automated driving through innovative concepts, algorithms and quality software code. In practice, examples of your work task can be:
- Evolving cutting-edge technology by implementing best practices coding
- Developing solutions and algorithms to control an automated vehicle in a real time system
- Designing and implementing software, which is modular, testable, maintainable and fulfills the automotive industry requirements
- Interacting with highly skilled people to both gain and share knowledge
The team is dedicated to taking ownership for the Automated Driver area and securing that the quality of our developed and deployed solution meets the demands of our customers. We strive for a broad competence profile within our team, so every member must be open to work on all topics relevant for the team while still fostering their special expertise. Based on your competence and interest you also have the possibility to shape your role and develop professionally.
Qualifications & experiences
- Several years of industrial experience within embedded software development and programming modern software e.g. C++.
- Experience and passion for writing production code for embedded real-time algorithms and systems.
- Experience of Collaborative Coding, Continuous Integration and Product Development.
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. in a related field e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics etc.
Nice to have
- Experience from the automotive domain and automotive coding standards (AUTOSAR, MISRA etc.).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Docker, Jenkins, Artifactory, GitLab...etc.).
- Solution oriented mindset with a desire to improve status-quo.
