Description

The client is looking for an Engineer with extensive knowledge within the SharePoint Online platform that can help them setup and migrate their News solution to SharePoint Online.

The scope of the consultant services is to assist the client in:

- Develop high-quality software design and architecture

- Develop high quality (software) code which has been tested and is ready to be shipped (apply and use good practices and agreed standards)

- Apply and adhere to good software engineering practices (continuous integration, automated tests, pair programming, code reviews) using an agile/iterative development approach including validation and verification testing

- Take benefit of the chosen cloud solutions, mainly AZURE but knowledge of GCP is qualifying.

- Create secure solutions to handle sensitive Co-worker data

Mandatory competence and experience:

- The consultant should have experience of setting up solutions in SharePoint Online and can drive best practice within this area.
- SharePoint Developer with knowledge of: Modern SharePoint offers (communication sites, hub sites) - long term tenant planning, modern CSOM and PnP (.net core / .net standard where core is not ready), Azure AD > App registrations and access management, SharePoint online tenant configurations available and knowledge of SharePoint Onprem2 016 (for migration purposes)
- Knowledge of other CMS systems than SharePoint Online is qualifying.
- Knowledge of software engineering principles
- Knowledge of software engineering practices including test automation, DevOps, code versioning and experience of using industry standard toolsets
- Experience of working in agile/iterative software development teams, including deliver to agreed commitments
- Knowledge of the relevant cloud services
- Experience with agile development practices, in which requirements and solutions evolve through the collaborative effort of self-organizing cross-functional teams
