Data Scientist

We're looking for a Data scientist who wants to be a part of the whole modeling life cycle. This includes everything from monitoring current model performance, generating insights, brainstorming new features to creating better models that will be used in the credit strategy. Besides the above, we also want you to be a part of improving and developing the current model development processes and infrastructure so that more and better models can be used.

Together with your team, you will be a key player in helping Qliro make better credit decisions as well as combating fraud to stop the bad guys!

What you’ll do:

- Be responsible for researching, developing, and analyzing statistical models used to make predictions in the credit domain
- Real-time predictions of a credit application
- Fraud detection models
- Portfolio scoring models
- Lead projects that improve the scorecard development process

We believe you have:

- A passion for understanding data and how it relates to Qliro’s products and the problems you are trying to solve
- A background within a quantitative field, such as engineering, physics, mathematics, statistics or similar
- Experience programming and building models in Python and/or R
- Experience from SQL, Scala, HIVE, Spark and/or Airflow is a big plus
- Experience from building tree models such as XGBoost and knowledge of what is going on under the hood
- Experience from using GIT
- Experience from leading projects spanning multiple departments
