Frontend Engineer to Merchant web team

The Merchant web team is on a mission to build the best order management system out there and thereby give our merchants access to data and tools that help them create an awesome experience for the end-users of the product.

As a Frontend engineer you will play a central role on this journey and you will join forces with 4 other really skilled Software engineers, a Tech lead/Team lead, a Product owner, a QA engineer and a Designer to collaboratively design and build a new product in close collaboration with merchants.

You can expect to:

- Work with technologies such as React, SASS/SCSS, AWS, .Net Core and more
- Take lead in developing a UI that gives a best-in-class user experience.
- Contribute to all stages of the product life-cycle as well as engaging in architectural improvements and discussions
- Collaborate constantly - We’re true believers in teamwork and the value of practices like careful code reviews, pair (or mob) programming

What you’ll bring to the team:

- Extensive experience with modern web development (preferably Javascript and React), Git and continuous integration/delivery
- Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent
- Passion for building great products that people love with a good sense of basic UX principles, experimenting and using A/B testing
- Experience and/or interest in working with cloud technologies, more specifically AWS
- Experience in collaborating with designers in order to turn their designs into living and breathing products
- Curiosity and a highly collaborative work style, a wish for knowledge sharing and jumping at the opportunity to dive into new technology and territory
- Passion for writing clean and testable code
- We believe that you pay great attention to details and are well aware that both the user experience and the code behind it needs to be at the right level to achieve a great product.
