The Consultant role

As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.

Education/training

Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.

Experience

We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.

Required experience for this role:

• Minimum a B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent

• 5 years of software- and/or CI development

• Experienced python developer

• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

• Experience of agile methodologies and concepts like DevOps, Kanban and Scrum

Wanted competence

• Experience of Azure

• Experience of test automation

• Experience of working with Robot-framework

• Experience of Jenkins

• Valid European driver’s license B

• Swedish

About the position

-As a CI developer in a DevOps teams, you are part of an agile, cross-functional team, responsible for development and operations. You are engaged in planning, daily stand-up, retrospective and sprint reviews. Together with your team, you are constantly striving to improve our products and our ways of working.

-You collaborate closely with our customers to identify and evaluate features, break down and implements them for continuous deployment. Typically, we use Python for feature development and Jenkins for test execution scheduling. For revision handling, we use Git.

Main responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain an automated process to assure software quality

• Maintain and update current scripts/tools to support an evolving software

• Evaluate and develop new tools to support developers
