You will have a central role in an agile development team which analyzes, leads and solves customer challenges within areas like virtualized 5G, accelerated computing technologies, Open-RAN etc.

We use several languages and script dialects where real time C and C++ are central and Java, Golang, Perl, Python and MATLAB also are important.

The atmosphere in our teams is characterized by a strong team spirit where we support each other, share knowledge, face challenges and share success together. The teams work in customer development projects in close cooperation with other agile teams worldwide.

Around 350 persons work in our modern and centrally located TietoEVRY office in Karlstad – close to public transport, shops, restaurants and other services.

Who are you?

You have a deep knowledge of physical layer processing of 4G/5G telecom systems and an understanding of lower layers (PHY, MAC), connection to the core network and end-user applications.

You are well experienced in embedded system design and programming, algorithm optimization, code profiling for memory/cycle optimization and you have a good understanding of applied signal processing.

Your educational background is MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering or similar. As a person you are an analytic, innovative, prestigeless and enterprising team player who shares knowledge and ideas and who puts pride in finding the best solution for our customers’ challenges.
