BI Developer and Analyst - QlikView

The Data Analytics org at King ? spread across London, Stockholm and Barcelona ? is responsible for processing the billions of rows of data we receive each day and using it to drive all of King's data and analytics needs. You will provide processed data across multiple platforms to a number of different internal departments, including our 10+ game studios, Finance, Marketing and Player Comms Tech, working in close collaboration with your international colleagues in our ever-expanding, multi-location team.

Your role within our Kingdom

We are looking for a highly intelligent individual with a good numerate University degree, with the proven ability to apply your skills in producing valuable reports from large amounts of data. The role will focus on QlikView development within our BI team, working closely both with business users, analytics experts and the data-warehouse team.

The role is as part of the Business Intelligence and Analytics team, which looks to further understand, model, predict and segment King customers, and help take King?s data capabilities to the next level. We are interested in all levels of experience, from the junior through to senior.

Responsibilities include:
?Building both large systematic reports and doing one-off analytical investigations.
?Working closely with our Game development teams and other parts of the business to understand their reporting requirements (across mobile, social and web) and formalise an approach for reliable, relevant, accurate, efficient reporting on those requirements.
?Working with engineering, development and data-warehouse teams to ensure our data is precisely specified, understood and consistent.

You are self-motivated, highly analytical, organized and detail-oriented. You have strong time management skills and the ability to meet project timelines in a fast-paced environment. You have a good understanding of business insight and how to design and reports that are clear, consistent, understandable and valuable. You also have strong communication skills, both oral and written, an eye for detail, accuracy and elegance in reporting and an interest in facebook/social and mobile gaming.

Strong SQL skills are a requirement for this role.

Other skills include:

Worked with QlikView or other BI reporting/dashboard systems (Microstrategy, Tableau,?).
? Experience in dealing with large, real-world datasets (SQL) - writing relational and multidimensional database queries.
? ?Big data? systems experience (Hadoop, Hive, MapReduce, etc) ? 15bn datapoints per day!
? Creating, deploying, debugging, monitoring and troubleshooting BI solutions.
? Software engineering skills (python or java ideally).
? Familiarity with analytical techniques, A/B testing, etc.
? Good windows/unix skills.
