Job Description

As a System Architect for switching products you will perform and drive strategic technical studies and implementation within cross functional teams in the development centers in the home organization and also with other development organizations within Ericsson. You will be responsible to ensure that our product performs based on customer requirements, system improvements and customer feedback.

The role also implies to be active in the innovation area, to propose and run prototypes, to team up with people inside and outside the home organization for new product opportunities and close customer engagement.

Requested Competence profile

-Education: Master of Science or Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in, computer science, communications, electronic engineering or similar.
-At least 5 years experience from System Management activities throughout complete solution lifecycle, such as:
System handling, System improvements, Pre-study work / technical studies, Technical co-ordination
-Capable of technical management of escalations on solutions level
Experienced in commercial switching technology/products and have both IP networking skills and L2/Ethernet skills.
-High and proven Linux competence
-High ability to multi-task
-Highly developed technical leadership skills
-Open-minded to changes, flexible and innovative
-Team player
-Able to work in a distributed and international organization
-Customer focused, good business and market understanding and capable of seeing the big picture
-Understanding of Lean and Agile methodologies
-Accountability & Ownership
-Very good interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Fluent in oral and written English and have good presentation skills
