Junior Programmer

The Paradox Arctic Family is looking for a new Junior Programmer! If you have a prototyping mindset, with a passion for exploration and experimenting, and have the full intention to hang out in one of the most northern and beautiful cities in Sweden, then you are a perfect fit for our research team! Not only will you have a big impact on our current titles, but you will also influence all our upcoming games.

About the role

Our research team is a small, cross-disciplined group where everyone works together, and doesn't mind getting their hands dirty and doing some innovation - right here, right now. Researching, collaboration with non-technical colleagues, as well as finding quick and out of the box solutions in a dynamic environment will be your new home.

• Technical design and implementation of new features
• AB-Testing different gameplay mechanics
• Strive for continuous improvement of self and the development process

Requirements

• Programming skills in C++
• Passion for video games
• Comfortable communicating with English, both written and spoken

We will also look very favorably upon experience within game development, familiarity with game engines & Paradox game titles, as well as experience working with git. These are however no hard requirements.
