Agile Tester Frontend

Kambi Development consists of more than 200 people constantly trying to improve the process of turning user stories into shippable code. We're dedicated to value driven development, think lean software development is a great way of achieving that and use Scrum or Kanban to support our efforts along the road.

In addition to our online Sport betting solution, we offer our customers a Retail solution consisting of self-service terminals and Point of Sale terminals controlled by cashiers. The terminals are typically deployed in Sports betting shops or in casinos.

Kambi Retail is a rapidly expanding business area and our ambition is to provide the market with a state-of-the-art Retail Sports betting system. To achieve our goal, we are now looking for an awesome Frontend Tester to join one of our teams.

You will be working closely with your team of Frontend Developers and collaborate with other teams and testers to build a world-class product.

This is what our awesome testers do:

• In-sprint testing of user stories is the focus, today mostly exploratory and manual but moving towards developing and introducing more test automation
• Determining the test scope, what to test and how to test
• Coordinate and handle releases of team applications

• Identify risks in the products that we build
• Actively give feedback to Product Owners about the product

• Help Product Owners write good acceptance criteria
• Is a domain expert who helps the team with support questions from stakeholders

You will also:

• Keep test environments running and up to date, collaborating with operations teams and other development teams
• Take part and contribute in the Kambi Testing Community

Key skills and experience:

• Has minimum 5 years of experience, with extensive background in Frontend testing
• Has advanced knowledge in Jira, Confluence, Linux, Git, Jenkins
• Great communication skills – ability to communicate effectively with developers, fellow testers and product owners
• Has strong knowledge of Agile Software Development Methodology
• Highly collaborative and open to feedback
• Strong trouble shooting skills (reading logs etc.)
• Strong learning ability

Desirable skills and experience:

• Has experience from developing test automation, including framework
• Has knowledge and experience from Javascript, React, Typescript, SQL
• CI/CD
• Understanding of the Sports Betting domain
