UX | UI Designer

We are looking for an experienced UX | UI Designer to join our Data Analytics business in Umea. You will play a key role at Sartorius being a UX advocate in a versatile role and working with cutting-edge technology.

Sartorius Data Analytics business is growing. We have a market leading data analytics software suite that helps our customers get the most value from their data. We are looking for a creative and passionate designer to our Umeå office that can help us continue our journey to improve ease of use of our products. You will play a key role at Sartorius being a user experience advocate in a versatile role and you will be working with cutting-edge technology and with some of the best people in our industry.

What you will accomplish together with us:

• Engaging with product management, engineering and other stakeholders
• Planning, overseeing and helping the design team execute the design activities
• Creating, maintaining and updating customer journeys and value propositions
• Iterating wireframes, user flows, interactions, visual concepts and interactive prototypes
• Assigning user requirements to user stories that create value to customers and users
• Leading workshops and perform user studies to understand needs, challenges and customer values
• Performing usability studies and creating collaborative documentation of findings
• Following Sartorius branding and guidelines in order to follow design standards for ease of use
• Improving the UX process, from idea to implemented feature that creates value for customers and define and up-hold design metric
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation

What will convince us:

• Academic degree in interaction design, computer science or equivalent is preferred
• Strong experience as an UX/UI designer
• Excellent people-skills who value collaboration in multidisciplinary teams
• Capable of getting things done, with strong user centric advocacy and problem-solving skills
• Strong communicator - clear, concise and can argue for and show the value of your design decisions
• Able to adhere to deadlines and deliver on-time results
• Creative and flexible problem solver that adopts well working in an agile environment
