Seco Tools is a worldwide leading supplier of metal cutting solutions in areas such as milling, stationary tools, hole making and tooling systems for a diverse mix of customers. Our tools help build planes, medical equipment, agriculture gear and everything else around us.

Your phone case? The molds are cut and created by our tools. The lenses in the glasses you wear? Cut by our tools. Your grandma’s knee replacement? Yes, you guessed it - our tools cut and shape that metal. It’s what we do, we’re good at it and proud of it! Your mission

In this position, you’re a vital part on our journey to find new ways to incorporate IT in the digital future of our business. You perform system development according to requirements from Seco IT Demand with technical responsibility for development, maintenance and support of appointed system, including all related interfaces. You also ensure continuous business operations and business development through IT – making sure that we have the IT solutions and services needed to fulfill the strategy and reach our goals. You achieve this by being proactive and innovative, putting forward the possibilities IT can provide and suggesting opportunities.

Your role also includes:

· Design, develop, test, debug and implement software

· Create system specifications and time estimates

· Determine system software design requirements and develop systems considering usability, scalability, security and accessibility

· Suggest solutions and functionality to stakeholders

· Create and maintain system documentation

· Comply with established system software engineering policies, standards and procedures

· Act 3rd line support for appointed systems or new improvements

This position is preferably located at one of our sites in Fagersta (Sweden), Troy (Michigan) or Pune (India).

Your profile

We’re looking for someone with experience from a similar position and a positive, innovative approach towards solving problems. With structure, drive and socials skills, you work together with your team to deliver results in a timely manner. You’re skilled in C-sharp, JS and .NET, and experience from working with Azure is also beneficial in this position. You have fluent skills in both written and verbal English.
