Software Developer

Verisure Innovation is seeking a talented, innovative and passionate Software Developer to support our growing operations of our Business Application department. Reporting to the Manager Sales Application, the Software Developer will be a key member of the Sales Applications team and will play a crucial role in supporting our colleagues in our different countries with their sales activities using great IT tools.  

Verisure Innovation in Malmö is Sweden’s award-winning innovation center for the connected & protected smart-home market. We create services and IoT products for smarter, safer and more secure homes, serving customers throughout Northern Europe. 
 

Main Responsibilities 

You will join a full stack team where we value openness to different technologies with a focus on backend development where you manage to connect and work with frontend ensuring user friendly applications.
* Participate in all aspects of agile software development including design, implementation, and deployment.  
* Design, deploy and manage the microservices using Docker and Kubernetes. 
* Work with requirements analysis and break down from high level business and technical requirements. 
* Collaborate with multiple Scrum teams, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, System Architects, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers and Users. 
* Provide continuous support to the applications developed and built by the team. 
* Understand both technical and consumer needs and implement solutions designed to meet them. 

What you bring

We are looking for a person who is passionate about working with others and exchanging ideas and opinions. We value knowledge sharing in our organization, hence you are comfortable in your field and can communicate your know-how in a logical and confident way as well as being open to learn from others. Furthermore, you are characterized by a forward thinking and innovative mindset.  
* At least 1-2 years of experience as Software Developer. 
* Attitude towards working full stack with both backend and frontend technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, REST apis, MySQL, Java and Angular. 
* Interest in working with tablet applications. 
* Good understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and the iterative way of working. 
* Ability to communicate in English both written and verbal form.  
* Open mindset and driven by winning as a team.
