“Join our team and help to improve and save lives” Ortivus is strengthening the Software Engineering Team and are recruiting to several positions, both senior and junior engineers. What you’ll do at Ortivus You will be part of an agile scrum team and you will be specifying, developing, maintaining and test our products in a safe and reliable way. In the role you will work closely with all our software and hardware engineers in the engineering teams. Your main responsibilities will be development and design, creating the next generation of MobiMed as well as maintaining our products. You will also participate in requirements engineering, implementing software and integration tests, as well as product risk analysis and solve complex problems. You will provide relevant documentation for the developed products. Third level support and application development are also part of what you will do. You will also be part of our continuous effort to improve the way we are working.

What you will bring us To be a suitable candidate for this position we think you have a Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent, maybe specializing in computer science, electronics, medtech, mechatronics or physics. You have at least a couple of years of experience in agile methodologies, direct product development and experience of working in a regulated industry, preferably in the medical devices industry. Strong computer skills and experience are required in C# and .Net. Some other of the systems, programs and processes we work with or are planning to work with and that are good to have experience from are MS SQL, Android, iOS, Firebase, Angular, React, Flutter, Azure/AWS cloud and Dockers Kubernetes.

You have excellent skills in English, both written and spoken, and speaks Swedish. Your drive and quality-conscious mindset will be success factors in this position. To fit well with your responsibilities and with the team, we think you are a pragmatic problem solver, with an ability to get things done. You have the capability to design long-term solutions to products and you like to work with continuous improvements, both in the products and in our processes.
