OM TJÄNSTEN
Academic Work is on behalf of our client Labatus looking for a junior test developer to join their team in Mjärdevi. You should have a great interest in testing and also be comfortable with development in Python. At the moment there are 20 empolyees at Labatus at the office at Mjärdevi but since they are expanding they are now looking for a junior tester to support one of the test teams.

Labatus is a company that offers their clients world leading test and verification services regarding software for digital boxes. At Labatus they do test directly on behalf of customers and they aim to reduce the cost of quality defects for its customers. The objective of the test team is to secure that the equipment doesn't fail and to help operators build products of high quality!

This recruitment process is conducted by Academic Work and the request from Labatus is that all questions regarding the position is handled by Academic Work.

Academic Work is responsible for the recruitment process but the candidate that proceed will be employed directly by Labatus. As an employee you will be offerd a introduction program with a mentor and training within testing and test development to prepare you for the position.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
As a test developer at Labatus you will be working both in-house at Labatus and at the client's office depending on the assignment. In this role you will take part in all testing aspects – through planning, process improvements, tool development, and coordination of tests as well as conducting the manual and automated testing yourself.

For example, you will:

* Develop test cases
* Write and execute test cases manually and automated
* Follow up and write technical reports from tests
* Participate in the development of test planning and test procedure documentation

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
We are looking for someone who has a relevant academic degree within system development, cognitive science, computing or equivalent. We believe that you have a geniune interest in testing and that you are experienced in Python. We also believe that you have recently graduated or that you have 0-1 years of experience within testing and software development.

Specific requested competencies:

* Academic degree within system development, cognitive science, computing or equivalent
* Very good programming skills in Python
* Fluent in English, both written and oral in order to communicate with colleagues and customers

If you also have good knowledge in C++ it will be highly qualifying. It will also be considered an additional qualification if you meet any of the following statements:

* Experience from working in Agile projects
* Experience from test case writing and execution
* Hold a certification in testing
* Experience from working with IPTV and DVB
* Experience from Javascript or XML
* Overall knowledge in TCP/IP and IP

As a person you have a strong inner drive and have a great desire to develop your technical and testing skills. You are curious and interested in the area, and see yourself developing your career within it. You do not hesitate to try new things and to take initiative. At the same time, you are not afraid of asking for help and you are prestigeless in your role as a tester. The role also requires a person who likes to take responsible and works independently.
