Do you have a passion for agile software development?

Do you have a genuine interest in digital services development? Are you interested in being a part of a team that makes reality of Internet of Things? Digital Solutions R&D makes the products of Husqvarna Group more competitive through digital value-adding services to end-users.

If you have a great passion for digital service development in the field of software development, then you are the one that we are looking for!

Digital solutions R&D is working closely with business product owners to develop value-adding digital services to our end-users. The area is still in great exploration but we already have some successful digital services on the market. Below are two examples from our service portfolio:

-Automower Connect enables you to remotely steer and control your robotic lawnmower via a mobile app regardless of where you are in the world.

-Fleet Services is a cloud-based system that connects the machine fleet and landscaping teams to an on-line portal, enabling safer and more productive landscaping operations.

Digital Solutions R&D consists of 100 creative colleagues, all specialized within their fields; development, test, architecture and cloud. The department is built on team spirit and collaboration, which is necessary to generate new ideas and solutions in an agile and international environment. You will work according to an agile methodology along with 2-10 coworkers in a Squad (Scrum team). Each squad is self-organized and they also decide for themselves how to work. In addition, each squad has the overall responsibility for one or more digital services and is responsible for the entire life cycle, from start to finish (devOps). Here you will have the opportunity to work with the latest in technology, be part of team with skilled co-workers and work with something that makes a difference!

We build our services based on a micro services architecture that runs in the cloud. Therefore we have squads that develops and delivers common micro services that are consumed by other squads that builds services targeting the end customers (e.g. a connected robotic lawn mower and a Fleet management system). We also have core squads in the areas of Delivery pipeline, Cloud platform and Cloud application.

You will be part of a squad that develops new features, handles scaling as well as operations and support. We expect you to be in the forefront of your field and have a passion in your area of expertise. We also want you to be part of improving our department by sharing knowledge. You will be involved in the whole life cycle of your squad’s product, in ideation and development of new features as well as maintaining and scaling existing functionality. Close collaboration with developers, UX design and QA is natural since they also belong to the squad, but also collaboration with other squads, R&D and product managers.
