Combient Mix is looking for a head of Engineering to manage and grow our Engineering Team and be part of a growing and exciting technology company.

Combient Mix is an AI and Data Science company focusing on scaling AI across the Nordic industries. We focus on the Combient network, which consists of 30 of the largest Nordic companies. We develop our solutions in a trusted and collaborative environment together with our member companies.

What you will do

• Manage, coach and grow our engineers
• Recruit and interview candidates
• Ensure excellence in our technology approach specifically towards engineering problems
• Act as a Senior Engineer and work with our customers when needed
• Advise the rest of the business the best engineering to use in specific projects
• Oversee continuous development of our engineering practice

Who you are and the experience you have

• Extensive experience in Data, Machine learning and Data Science from the past
• Experience from working as a consultant and with international customers
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to solve complex technical problems
• Prior experience with Machine Learning, Data Engineering and Data Science is a must
• MLOps and DevOps engineering
• Software development, CI/CD, test-driven development
• Kubernetes, Docker
• Distributed computing (Spark, Dask or similar)
• Cloud computing (GCP, Azure, AWS)
• Data Management concepts (Data Quality Management, Data Governance)
• Strong written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong sense of ownership
