Your future challenge
Your position will be at GIS (Global Information Services) the IT department of Husqvarna Group in Huskvarna.
As the technology owner of Network & Telecom solutions you will drive the development of our future IP/UC platform, whilst also making sure cost efficient usage of Husqvarna's investments within area of Network & Telephony technologies.
This position requires that you enjoy being constantly updated on the latest news and technologies within your area of responsibility.
You will also secure security compliant implementations of Network solutions
This position requires some travelling both in Sweden and abroad.

Your role
The IT Technology Manager - Network & Telecom will focus on maintaining a robust and secure network backbone, and to develop solution concepts for Husqvarna's future IP/UC platforms. You will also be working in close collaboration with internal Service owners and IT Architects, as well as external Architects & Specialists from strategic partners responsible for global WAN and Infrastructure services.
As IT Technology Manager you will oversee & approve critical changes, identify & drive problem management activities, as well as ensure pro-active capacity planning.
Furthermore you will review new business demand and translate into specific requirements on the IP/UC platform, and govern IT standards and policies within your technology domain as well as oversee and participate in solution design work in various projects to ensure delivery of high performing and secure IS/IT solutions.

As IT Technology Manager you will be responsible for high-level maintenance planning and solution design within the following areas:
. LAN, WLAN and WAN technology solutions
. Internet connectivity, Remote access and Network security solutions
. Cloud services connectivity
. Unified communications & Collaboration solutions (based on MS O365 and Cisco technology platforms)
. Legacy telephony technologies (transformation journey into future UC solutions)
Other core responsibilities:
. Implementation of Network & Security solutions according to Husqvarna's IT Security policies and guidelines
. Ongoing tasks within execution of ITIL based delivery processes, mainly Change Management, Problem Management & Capacity Management

Who you are
We think that you have a relevant educational background for the specified position. You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a large international company. To manage the task of this position it's essential that you have a deep understanding of relevant technologies and its application in a larger organization.
You have the ability to communicate both in written presentation and in speech. As we are a global organization this includes excellent skills in English. It's important that you are a well-organized person who likes to work in a structured way and actively work on preserving established processes and procedures.
