Are you looking for a challenge in software and algorithm development? Do you have a knack for problem solving, and like to apply theoretical knowledge to solve real world engineering problems? In this role you will work in a team of software engineers, developing video processing algorithms and products in the fast paced world of smartphones.

About the role

Imint is a Swedish software enterprise. Our software platform Vidhance® is a state-of-the-art video enhancement solution for smartphones and embedded camera devices. You will join the headquarters in Uppsala and become part of a company with approximately 30 employees, where visions and big ideas are heard.

Responsibilities:

● Develop new features and algorithms for Vidhance products in C++

● Maintain and improve current Vidhance products and processing framework

● Provide algorithm expertise to our support team

Requirements:

● 2 years of work experience

● Degree within a relevant field, such as Engineering Physics or Computer Science and Engineering

● Strong theoretical understanding of math, signal processing and physics, and how to apply theory to solve real world problems

● Comfortable with object oriented programming

Meriting Requirements:

● C++ in particular

● Product development, especially within consumer electronics

● Knowledge about photography, camera pipelines, image/video processing and/or image analysis

● Android (app or system development)

● OpenGL or OpenCL

● Linux

● Artificial Intelligence
