Financial services “out of the box” with possibilities of rapidly growing those services with new ones. This paired with support for multiple front-end channels, ranging from USSD to web and app front-ends provides abilities to offer bank-grade financial services to wide range of end users.

Sending and receiving money as easy as sending a text is just a very basic service that can be provided “out of the box”, merchant payments, bill payments, buy airtime, mini loans services are just some of the more advanced examples that can easily be achieved by integrating with 3rd parties that provide those services very quickly by using provided well-defined set of APIs.

Majority of Ericsson Wallet Platform components are deployed as containers creating hybrid cloud deployment model that is deployed on combination of Kubernetes framework and VM hypervisors enabling HW independency to certain extent. New services are introduced as the solution evolves like generic External Instrument support, external authorization, device-based authorization support, Cashback Campaign Management to name few.

We are looking for an additional member to our Software Architect Team (SAT). As a member in SAT you will have authority to take decisions on what implementations to propose. You will lead implementation discussions with the design teams and represent the MFS R&D in architectural discussions. To be part of the Software Architect Team requires that you lead with your technical expertise and experience.

The responsibilities for our Senior Software Architect

• Driving development of the Ericsson Mobile Financial Services products.
• Lead/participate in the development activity in your technical expertise.
• Drive Continuous Improvements of Products and Processes.

Core Competences:

• Highly developed knowledge to work with modern software development techniques, JAVA J2EE, Gradle, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes and Oracle DB skills.
• Experienced working with modern software development processes such as Agile and Lean development.
• Technical experience and competence of bank/financial systems.
• Knowledge in bank grade software security.
• Product life cycle management.
• Delivering results & meeting customer expectations.

To be successful in the role you must have

• 10 years’ experience as a SW developer.
• Documented experience as SW Architect or similar roles.
• Experience of DevOps and agile SW development.
• Knowledge from working with VUE.JS
• Leadership skills
• Positive attitude with a passion to win.
• A university degree (MSc or BSc) in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Economics or equivalent.
• Proficient English
