You will get the opportunity to work with a very motivated team. The location of the company is smashing, outstanding view in an innovative and dynamic office in Kista. The building has many facilities that can be used and as you have flexible working hours, why not work out in the gym before lunch and then enjoy lunch in one of the many restaurants in the area! At this moment they are working remotely, but the wish is to have everyone working in the office in the future.

As a Lead Engineer, you will play an important part in a small but focused team that provides and manages the infrastructure for both the internal and external IT in the Cloud and on-prem hardware and software. Problem-solving, communication, and quality routines will be part of your daily tasks. They work with developers on building and maintaining a CI/CD pipeline so we can deliver the products to end-users with the quality and availability they expect. You will have a lot of opportunities to develop your skills, and you will collaborate with other departments like Sales and Development.

You’ll be part of a small team in a flat organization where everyone is encouraged to contribute with ideas, improvements that span across the organization. This role is perfect for a person with a great interest in video communication and a desire to extend their knowledge in system integration, automation, and cloud technologies. This is the perfect place to learn about the technologies involved in running and scaling an online interactive video platform. You will work on making the video platform even better by developing more creative features. Make it more useful, stronger, and powerful by using your creativity. Today a lot of videos are streamed on the platform and your task is to create the ability to add more images and communications to and around the videos and the push out of more information through the video content. Who are you?

To be successful in this position we think you are an experienced engineer, that is comfortable on the Linux command line and has a solid understanding of networking and different layers of the operating system. You are communicative and like to collaborate with others in an open and flat organizational structure. You are comfortable troubleshooting unknown issues when they occur, and you are fluent with at least one scripting language that you have used to automate mundane tasks in your daily work. Ideally, you have a DevOps mindset and it’s a plus if you have experience with Kubernetes and cloud technologies in general and you are happy to learn them. You are a self-going person that spots areas of improvement and acts on those. If you are interested in video streaming technologies, it is a plus.

We think you have post-secondary education in Computer Engineering or equivalent.

Good knowledge about design patterns, understanding of Web Services (REST) and experience working with automated tests.

You thrive in an agile environment where you are involved and solve technical challenges and are also able to influence the development of new products. You also have an excellent command of the English language. Fluency in English is a must.

As a person, you have passion for what you do! You are good in your technical field and like to find innovative solutions. You thrive in a role where you will be able to grow and develop in your field and you appreciate having a team to brainstorm ideas with. You have a problem-solving mentality and good communication skills. You can communicate in English (technical and non-technical) very well.

You are knowledgeable within computer systems, such as Linux and Windows, and have system integrations understanding. Knowledge about APIs (Rest, JSON), scaling services and networking (firewall, switch & VPN), as well as with high availability systems, and you can write scrips. It's a bonus if you're experienced in:

1. Working with Google Cloud / Kubernetes or other cloud solution
2. Identity Access Management
3. Video processing with ffmpeg
4. Automation / CI-CD pipelines
5. Software development
6. Tools like Git, Jenkins, LDAP
7. Datacenter & hardware

There is belief in a diverse mix of the team and English is spoken in the office!

As the position is to be filled as soon as possible, we would prioritize applications of candidates living in the greater Stockholm area and preferably a valid working permit for working in Sweden.
