System Software Engineer

We are now looking for a system software engineer that will be working with eye tracking solutions for virtual and augmented reality. You will work in a multidisciplinary team consisting of algorithm and firmware developers as well as QA and system engineers that enjoy collaborating, learning, improving and most of all delivering solutions that help our customers reach their goals. We need your help to develop and maintain the software that enables Tobii’s technology!

Role and Responsibilities

As part of our cross functional team, you have a shared responsibility to make the team succeed and deliver quality solutions on time. You will design and implement software for Tobii’s platform software stack which ranges from firmware all the way up to public APIs provided to the customers. Your area of expertise will be the platform software, but you are also encouraged to contribute to ensure quality by designing tests and review code and designs.

Your days will be filled with:

• Add functionality to the software platform
• Improve code quality (Code reviews, unit tests, system tests)
• Debugging
• Integrate the software platform with customer’s hardware
• Contribute to defining the architecture for new platforms

We are looking for someone with:

• Bachelor or master's degree in computer science or other relevant disciplines
• Experience in C, C++ and Python
• Experience in agile environments
• Fluent in English (other languages are a plus)
