SysOps Team Lead

About the role
Irisity is now looking for you with solid experience in hosting and cloud infrastructure to be able to take us in the right direction. You will lead our SysOps team, both technology and personnel. You will drive the changes needed to support and prepare our often cloud-based systems for the challenges brought by our rapid expansion and internernationalization. You will be responsible for outlining and executing the strategy that supports Irisity's expansion to deliver camera-based surveillance solutions through 10-100-1000 times as many devices as today. In this role you will have a lot of contact points, both internal and external as such as our stakeholders. You will work closely with the R&D team to make sure that we’re moving in the right direction.

Our SysOps team is a small team of 3 who work closely together, which means that you will also work operationally in the team sprints. As you might understand by now, we are scaling up and you will be a key player to make this work. As our SysOps Team Lead you will be responsible for, among other things:

- Ensure the security of our systems as we expand
- Find efficient solutions to scaling a global multi-tenant SaaS system
- Handle differences in legislation in different markets impacting systems architecture
- Cloud service delivery and SLAs
- Internal Workshops
- Internal documentation

You will report to the management team.

Who we think you are

To solve challenges you encounter you have to take your own initiative and at the same time be a team-player and have keen attention to details. You are happy to find the best way to lead the daily work, create roadmaps, plans and execute on this together with your team. It’s an advantage if you are Azure Cloud Certified, but not a requirement. We think you have:

- Been working as a team leader and have at least 5 years of experience in hosting and cloud infrastructure
- Excellent knowledge in Windows Server, Azure cloud services, ELK stack, Azure Dev Pipelines, Powershell scripting.
- Professional experience of IT Security, automation and monitoring
- A strategic and creative mind
- Outstanding communication skills

Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal) is a requirement. Experience from scaling up software services and working with Linux servers are seen as major advantages. Even more advantages are if you in addition to above also have been working with Mssql, MySQL, Postgres, Containers, Terraform and Yaml scripting.
