Verification Engineer/Developer- Connected Experience, Connectivity Platform
What we offer
The Connected Experience organization within R&D includes Connectivity and Car Cloud Platform, Infotainment Platform, Applications and Data & Diagnostics. Our vision and strategy are to maximize the attractiveness of owning and using a Volvo, make all cars connected and provide a continuously enhanced experience for both new and existing cars.

The Agile Release Train (ART) Connectivity Platform within the Department Connectivity and Car Cloud Platform is responsible for delivering Global Connectivity as a service – E2E including car HW, SW and Mobile Network Services. The platform we provide is the prerequisite for all connected applications and services within the vehicle.

What you´ll do 
An essential product part within the Connectivity Platform is the Volvo SIM Subscription Management (VSSM) that makes it possible for Volvo Cars to have control over Car/SIM relationship, subscription usage and its status but not least, it plays an essential part in managing the SIM profiles on the eUICC available in the car. The VSSM product act within the ecosystem of the car, mobile network operator, SIM card provider and Volvo Cars internal IT systems. The product ownership is within the agile teams.

Your purpose as a Developer with focus on verification is, together with your colleagues in your agile team and the product owner, to provide stepwise value to the larger solutions/systems (via the Agile Release Train - ART). You will in your daily work define and execute e2e verification activities and implement applicable automation testing within the ecosystem mentioned above. But within the agile team you will also contribute to all part of product development work so enhancing the product, trouble shooting, SW development and performing operational tasks is part of daily work.

Do you fit the profile?
We are looking for You with at least a BSc. in Software Engineering, or similar, and have a few years of SW verification experience in an e2e environment. Test automation has been part of your daily work and you have proved its importance to secure the product quality. Experience from working in the Automotive, telecom, Manufacturing, Energy, Pay TV industry is a clear advantage to succeed in this role, but if that is not the case and you have the right mindset, we will help you to succeed. You are experienced in agile development methodologies and SAFE framework and have worked in product teams. Since Volvo Cars is a global organization, we see that you are fluent in the English language.
