Let us describe the challenge we offer
Deceleration & Steering ART (Agile Release Train), is a part of Vehicle Platform and we are responsible for the vehicle braking and we develop for conventional and AD controlled vehicles. 

We expand in-house development to today’s supplier developed SW solutions and research future systems for our portfolio, such as steer/brake by wire and redundant systems. We work with platform solutions where we strive to lead and shape the development on future shared platforms between Volvo, Polestar, Geely and Lotus.

We want you to be a part of our innovative journey in creating the next generation of cars.

What you’ll do
You will be joining an inhouse SW development team, consisting of highly skilled engineers inspiring and developing high quality SW and functions using Model-Based and C/C++ programming language. You will thrive as part of a skilled cross functional agile team. Your primary focus will be to enable applications for coming platforms. 

Furthermore, you will design & maintain, build, test and integrate applications in our new core system platform to meet the high standards of future vehicles. Write testable code as well as unit and component tests. Quality assurance by code review with your colleagues. Be involve in technical trends and raise innovative new features.

Do you fit the profile?
We are looking for you who has a passion for SW with several years of hands on experience in SW development. You enjoy working close to the product and testing your theories in practice. You are creative and want to contribute to a positive and constructive atmosphere in the team.

You have good communication and documentation skills in English and if you don’t already speak Swedish, you have it as a personal objective to do so.

You have a M.Sc. in Electronical, Computer Science or Controls and Mechatronics Engineering and a driving license (B). Teamwork is important for you and you like bringing out the best in others.

You have more than 3 years of hands on experience on following; deep knowledge in modern C++ cross platform development (C++14), GIT/Gerrit, scripting with Python, Debugging and fault tracing in embedded SW. You are familiar or worked with following; Matlab/Simulink, Autosar, Linux, C programming language and SW Quality Assurance.

Meritorious is also working with C, Software test automation, Automotive technology such as CAN buses, FlexRay and SOME/IP, Test frameworks like Google Test and finally a Driver’s license B.
