Are you a newly graduated software engineer that would like to work with Quality Assurance or do you have 1-2 years of experience from a similar type of position? Then we want to speak with you!
If you have some experience with software development or quality assurance, running and developing test automation, using programming languages such as Java and Python, it will be a benefit.
This role is responsible for refining and executing the quality assurance plan for the platform Infor ION Grid. The work includes exercising test strategies and test plans and developing test cases.
Infor ION Grid is a distributed runtime platform for Infor’s two largest ERP-systems and a large part of Infor OS, that can be deployed both in the cloud spanning 300+ instances and in Kubernetes running more than 5000 pods. The platform supports metrics collection, auto scaling and zero downtime upgrades.
Today we perform ad-hoc testing like installation and scale-out of large environments, loss of availability zones in AWS and HTTP based load tests. This position primary purpose is to structure our work around quality assurance and to make sure that these types of test are run regularly.
The team is located in Linköping, Sweden
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
- Run automated large-scale testing of our solutions both for virtual machines and for Kubernetes based deployments
- Run automated penetration tests (incl OWASP top ten objectives)
- Define and leverage the concept of chaos testing
- Enhance the existing automated test cases and develop new when gaps are identified
- Verification of new functionality
- Profile the system and analyze resource utilization and identify areas of improvement
What You Will Need:
Basic Qualifications:
- 3 years of higher relevant education – Computer Science, Computer Programming, Innovative Programming or similar. If you have Software Testing as a part of your education, it will be a bonus.
- Interest for automated testing
- Good written and spoken English
