Front end developer

About the position

At Refined, we are on a mission to help teams collaborate better. Our software turns native Confluence, Jira and Jira Service Management content into themed, easy-to-use intranets, service desks, issue trackers, knowledge bases and more.

As a Front end developer you will be working with our shared front end components that power up all our products. Your work will impact thousands of users around the world, ranging from people in tiny start ups to global enterprises. You will be a part of a small, dynamic team and work closely with other developers, product managers and UX/UI designers.

The shared components include things like libraries of UI components and editors allowing customers to design their site layouts by simply dragging and dropping elements. In this team you'll be mainly working with Vue.js (you'll stumble upon some Backbone in there too but we are moving away from it) and vanilla javascript. The day-to-day work entails building new features, improving existing things and fixing bugs.

We put a lot of focus on quality and we take pride in things we ship out to customers. We work with realistic goals and don’t rush releases out the door. We aim to do things well.

We are looking for someone who's in the first stretch of their career but has already professional experience and knows their way around things like Git and IDEs. Your team members are experienced developers so this is a great opportunity to develop your skills to the next level.

What you’ll need to succeed in this role

- 2+ years experience as a developer, in a team setting
- Experienced in working with Vue.js, React or similar
- Good understanding from modern web development
- General understanding of working with REST API
- Passionate to work with front-end
- Curious and eager to learn new things and develop yourself professionally
