Our Exciting Opportunity

Further develop our world class Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) machinery that is already using state of the art technology and is one of the key enablers for more frequent deliveries with higher product quality to our customers. With a growing Radio Access Network (RAN) solution complexity with regards to number of different nodes and amount of configurations it is absolutely crucial that software product developers can get faster and more accurate feedback on commits.

In Continuous Integration and Functionality (CIF) sector we work end-to-end with 5G RAN products in a customer like environments.

Ericsson R&D in Linköping is at the forefront of 5G development and is using many new technology concepts, e.g. Cloud implementation and Artificial Intelligence.

We have a very flexible work setup, which makes it possible to share time in a structured way between Ericsson workspace and home office.

This job offers an exciting and meaningful future where we work in teams who are responsible for CI/CD and verification of our 5G products, from test analysis phase – all the way to customer delivery. You will

• Configure CI/CD test environment.
• Develop test case code.
• Implement smart solutions rather than manual intervention.
• Tackle integration challenges regarding CI/CD configuration, test cases and environment.
• Have a close collaboration with colleagues from many sites and units.

To be successful in the role you must have

• A personality that is positive, productive, and creative.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• A team-spirit mentality to reach common goals together with your team.
• MSc or BSc level in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent level of knowledge.
• Programming skills in object-oriented programming languages such as Java. Other programming languages are highly valuable as well.
• Excellent speaking and writing skills in English.
