Come and join our Software Development and System Test Team! We are now looking for a System Tools/DevOps Engineer located in Gothenburg!

Our team is responsible for the software in the end-product (mobile phone, smart card, door locks etc.) as well as for the software tools necessary for production or development of our biometric sensors. The team manage the full life cycle of this SW, from requirements and design, to implementation, test, maintenance, and customer support. We also manage and maintain the SW infrastructure needed to fulfill our mission.

What you will do

Your role is to ensure that our software development infrastructure and build environments are up to date, running smoothly and configured optimally!

• You will manage and update the server infrastructure that help keep our builds green.
• You will have the responsibility to monitor the systems and perform analysis and debugging when issues are reported
• You will work in close cooperation with the different software development teams as well as the IT department at Fingerprints.
• You will have the opportunity to directly impact our setup and influence the direction of the tools in our infrastructure.

To succeed in this role, it is important that you …

• have worked with, managed, and updated applications such as Jenkins, Gerrit and JFrog Artifactory. It is also valuable if you have worked with administration and maintenance of JIRA & Confluence.
• have skills in software configuration management tools such as Puppet and Ansible
• have experience using and deploying Docker images and containers
• have experience from working with Linux servers (Ubuntu)
• have knowledge about Git, Python and Bash
• have a Master university degree within relevant area or equivalent work experience
• speak, read, and write English fluently
• identify yourself with our values: SMART, BRAVE, OPEN, UNITED
