Who we are

Product Development Unit Radio (PDU Radio) drives the end-to-end research and development of Ericsson’s radio products and solutions. We are a global organization, within Development Unit Networks (DNEW), of approximately 3,000 engineers and developers collaborating across nine sites in Canada, China and Sweden to drive Ericsson’s strategy of securing our ongoing market leadership in radio, taking a leadership position in 5G. In mid-2019 PDU Radio launched an organizational and operational transformation to facilitate the gradual, but rapid change from radio boxes to functions and modular architectures Common Radio Modules (CRM) Sector focuses on enabling fast introduction of common key technologies and driving common solutions, modularization and reuse work to the next level. It includes global teams working on software development, algorithm development, digital and mixed signals, production test development and Continuous Integration & Infrastructure (CI&I).


Our Great Opportunity

The CI&I department at CRM leads the development of the Radio Software continuous integration (CI) framework and infrastructure. We are in the journey of changing and evolving our CI machinery for the future radio products, scan the market for new solutions, optimize for good efficiency and support the product development engineers to develop world class products.

We are looking for a Software developer with interest in hardware to join our team in Kista to be part of a dynamic, innovating and highly skilled team with responsibility to develop and evolve the lab management module that provides visualization for Radio SW development teams.

To be successful in the role you must/should have

  • Bachelor of science or equivalent
  • Programming skills in Python, Java, Javascript, C, C++, Ruby
  • Database, (Elasticsearch, SQL)
  • Familiar with FastAPI, REST API & React
  • Eiffel & Kafka
  • Knowledge in Docker, Container (Kubernetes), Micro-services
  • Experience in Linux environments and tools like Git, Gerrit, Jenkins
  • Lean and Agile knowledge and skills
  • Extensive analytical and troubleshooting skills in SW, IP Network, virtual servers
  • Radio knowledge is beneficial
  • Knowledge about Radio RF technology and instruments
