Would you like to lead the next generation tech stack with Docker, Kubernetes and Microservices? We are looking for a Lead Backend Engineer to join our team in Stockholm!

Infor is an enterprise with a large portfolio of different products and solutions. One of the largest and most successful products at Infor is called M3. The technology that powers M3 to be successful is a distributed Java based application which handle complex customer requirements and deliver last mile functionality.

We are now building transforming this platform to Microservices to make it even more elastic and scalable. M3 is a large product with millions of lines of code powering the system and already a successful multi-tenant cloud product. This initiative will take a new leap on the tech stack behind M3 and make the product even more scalable for our largest customers.

What you will be doing

You will be part of the core development team of M3 Microservices, leading the architecture for Microservices tech stack and building a platform that other teams can build their application on. This includes both hands-on infrastructure, architecture and coding work.

As a lead engineer you will also engage in with other engineers in the team to help and support them on realising the vision and roadmap. On a cross organisation level, you will be taking in requirements from application and other teams and provide input and solution to address those.

What you are good at

· Technical leadership skills

· Understanding of SaaS and a cloud-based solution using any of major providers Azure/AWS/GCP

· Understanding of high availability, scalability, distributed systems and microservices architecture

· Containerization and orchestration based on Docker, Kubernetes

· Java 8+ with Spring Boot, Micronaut or a similar web application framework

· Unit, end-to-end, integration and contract testing

· Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment

· Understanding of Domain Driven Design development

· Scrum, documentation and knowledge transfer skills
