Test Lead

InSourceIT is helping a customer to expand their IT department and is providing several highly skilled persons.

The position is a Try and Hire and for the first period you'll be an employee at InSourceIT and then become an employee at the customer.

InSourceIT is certified at Migrationsverket and will sponsor Visa

The customer is a niche company serving customers with Software to improve their product offering.

They recently celebrated 25 years of business.

Headquarters in Stockholm with office in Europe, USA and Japan.

They work mostly in the manufacturing industry, from industrial to consumer products, located all over the globe.

The product was first launched in 2007 and is now a native cloud solution built on cutting edge technology.

The product is a pioneer on the market with limited direct competition. We now see a broader maturity on the market and a pull for our solution, hence time to expand our operation

They work from a nice office in central Stockholm, but also remotely. They are a dedicated team that thrives with technical challenges and are passionate about quality.

They have thier own “Scrumish” process, a blend development methodologies.

After final testing, they deploy to their worldwide SaaS environment.

This means a short cycle from Coding to User feedback.

The quality assurance framework also includes coding standards, code reviews, unit test and integration tests.

About the role

• Drive and Lead testing (main job)
• Set up test framework
• Support developers in setting up test as part of their delivery
• Lead manual testing team of the product
• Consolidate test result and recommend actions
• Track performance
• Cyber Security (extra)
• OWASP and security scanning
• Customer security surveys

Organization and network

• Part of the team,
• You will have around 10 colleagues in the dev team
• On occasion, interact with customer to define special tests for specific bugs or performance issue

Requirements

• Computer Science education +5 years experience
• Mature, Build relationships, Communicative, Structured, Thorough, Self-reliant, Take Initiative
• Skills Must have
• Prior experience as Test lead

• Cyber Security
• Swedish is a plus, other languages are bonus
