We are an experienced team responsible for the in house developed application used to generate material demand and assembly instructions for components, buses and trucks manufactured in factories across the globe. We have the end-to-end responsibility for both new development and runtime, which provides great opportunities to grow. We work close with our stakeholders to improve their daily work.

This is how you could make an impact

By joining our team, you will work on developing new features as well as troubleshooting current issues. The day-to-day work will include tasks in all life cycle phases, from the early specification, development, quality assurance and maintenance. You will be an important part in securing that the production engineers efficiently can supply the manufacturing line with instructions and material to be able to produce the new exciting Volvo trucks and buses. You will also be on a digital transformation journey with great opportunities to learn and work on new technologies and we welcome and encourage new ideas and new way of working.

Who are you?

You are an experienced software engineer with experience from agile development. You are driven by creating customer value, take responsibility and strive to always improve. You are curious about new technology and new ways of working. You enjoy working in a dynamic multicultural organization with close collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.

You have experience in .NET programming and .NET core, preferably development in Visual Studio.

If you have basic Java knowledge or Oracle knowledge, including SQL trimming and reading execution plans it is a plus.

Solution Center GTO (Group Trucks Operations) Manufacturing Appointed Solutions is a function in Manufacturing & Logistics Solutions managing, runtime- and one-time deliveries, for the globally appointed and emerging solutions used by GTO’s and UD’s manufacturing of trucks, cabs and powertrains globally. The Solution Center is located in Belgium, India, France and Sweden, and engage close to 300 highly skilled and engaged people.
