Verification and Validation Leader, Uppsala

CrossControl is in a very exciting growth phase and now pursuing a Verification and validation leader for developing and drive our V&V process forward. The position is a cross-functional role involving both hardware and software development, where the primary task will be to strengthen competence and quality by setting up processes to make sure that our products meet specifications and fulfill intended use and purpose.

As a Verification and Validation leader you are a driven employee with passion for technology and experienced in the V&V area. You enjoy working in team, have good communication skills and can collaborate cross-functional within the entire company organization.

Competence and experience

• Academic degree in Engineering, Computer Science or similar
• Proficient experience of Verification and Validation processes
• Practice of requirements, test processes and traceability
• Effective communication skills with customers and other software teams
• Residence in Sweden
• Pragmatic and solution-oriented
• Driven, ability to work independently and can take overall responsibility in projects
• Flexible and are easy to adapt to changes when required

In addition, it is qualifying if you have working experience from:

• Programming skills in C++, C, Qt/QML, IEC61131, C#, WPF, etc.
• Hardware development, (electronic, mechanic, etc.)
• Functional Safety
• Knowledge of automated test and approaches for automated test execution.
• ISTQB - Certified Tester Foundation Level

Duties

• Set up processes, take charge of the V&V area, deploying test processes and strategies for these.
• Participate in the entire life-cycle of product development project and take lead together with the project managers in deploying verification and validation to for product development including requirement, design, implementation, configuration management, change management, program testing, integration, release management, certification and revision.
• Comprehension of the product features & domain knowledge, writing test plans, writing test specifications and interpreting test results.
• Quantify quality with strategies for measure, assess and conclude for proving that a product is meeting expectations.
• V&V leader must understand the importance of that a product reaches the market at the time appointed by the company.
